About a month ago, my super awesome agent lady Michelle Grajkowski called to tell me that my extremely fabulous editor Deb Werksman at Sourcebooks offered me a contract for three more books! That’ll be a total of six books with Sourcebooks–three in the Fatal Dreams Series and three in the Fatal Truth Series.
*HELL YEAH*
This is the second call I’ve received and I have to tell you–the excitement doesn’t diminish. Not one bit. And I never want it to. I always want to feel astounded and grateful and fearful that I won’t be able to live up to expectations. I always want to be excited about these victories because this industry can be hard on a writer’s soul. Negative reviews, feeling overworked, under appreciated, and simply let down happen way too often. So I want to cling to these good things when they happen and hug them and love them and never stop appreciating them!
